Yes, let me know how it looks. I don't know anyone with Android devices, so I've never seen it.

Any day now. It's in final testing in Japan.
|
I'm hoping it will run on my Samsung Galaxy Q. Sim Aquarium 3 runs on it just fine so probably. It has Android 2.3 Gingerbread which apparently is the most prevalent OS out there. My brother is going to buy an iPad 4 tomorrow and I look forward to irritating him with the advantages Android devices have over Apple. If I were Bugs Bunny I would say "Ain't I a stinker?".
|
I can't wait.
|
I'll get it for my wife... I'd love to see an iOS app. ;)

I don't own any of these devices, but when I recently played around with an iPad mini I noticed that Safari halted the website's animations while I was scrolling down the page. Apparently, Apple tries to make sure that all the processing power goes into smooth scrolling, zooming and the impression of immediate responsiveness that's necessary to provide a touchscreen interface with that natural feel.
An aquarium live wallpaper that freezes whenever you wipe the screen for the next page of icons doesn't look real and thus might lose some of its appeal. |
Well in a rather embarrassing about face I have to say that I am quite impressed by the iPad 4. I'm still not sure that I would ever need something like that myself but if I did I would consider it just because of the screen. It's also not that difficult to use. It works a lot like my phone in most ways. There are a few things my phone can do (that the iPad can probably do too once we figure it all out) like accessing the home network and playing media files from the network drive. I hate to be the one to say it, but MA3 would look fantastic on the iPad 4.

An aquarium wallpaper would probably cut the iPad's battery life from 10 hours to about 1 hour.

Just to make this clear, v2.6 is already available for iOS, as an app, it's $1.99.

MA 3.2 for Android is now on Google Play:

Awesome! I hope it sells well - I'll point a few people to it.
|
Starting to test now. I am going with the free version first to see if that works ok, and then will purchase the full version to check the differences.
|
The free version doesn't seem to have any options for accessing any settings, at least if it does I haven't figured it out yet, and it won't let you store it on the sd card instead of using phone space, which isn't that great as it uses up limited phone storage space.
My current phone is an old Galaxy 1 running android 2.3.4, and it installed and runs ok, all be it a little slow because of the age on this phone. I will let it run for a few days and see how it effects the battery usage. |
I am trying out on Acer A200 Tab, runs quite nice, I am awaiting delivery of a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1" with quad core processor and 2gig of ram, we'll see how it run on that, I will buy full version when new tab arrives. Jim
