MA3 is shown a lot in the background during the sequences filmed in his barn.

I just ran across this. What ever happened to the series? I can't seem to find it being aired anymore.

The first season is over. They are about to start filming the second season.

hillover 05-06-2012 08:09 AM

Thanks. I'll watch for it.

What's new?

Jim Sachs 10-10-2012 08:23 AM

Second season is in the can and being edited. Garrett has been replaced, and Reichart's new partner (Scotty) is a bit wilder.

Ah! OK, I just couldn't find any mention of the second season on the channel website.

I'll keep an eye out for it.

Based on tonight's airing (the only one I've seen), I personally thought it was a bit lame. The most interesting part was in Scotty's hair. :)

Perhaps there are better episodes ahead?

Oh, and perhaps I missed the appearance of MA, but I sure didn't notice it.

Jim Sachs 11-29-2012 10:34 AM

Reichart says Scotty gets wilder in other segments.

Season 2 looks rather like it's sponsored by Hellboy(s).

In my opinion, Season 2 is a great improvement over Season 1. The whole production has really been tuned-up this time. Scotty brings a lot to the show, with the cars, the cave, and his seeming immunity to the camera. The quality of the inventions is way up. The little computer-segments describing the inventions are really good. The idea of following a successful invention all the way to the presentation to a manufacturer is extremely satisfying. I actually found myself getting a little choked-up when the Dus-T got accepted.

The most welcome change: The "suspense-pause" has been cut in half.
