I really think that Water lillies on the surface in pond view would look awesome. Ok I know I might be asking alot....but even if they were static images....

Absolutely. A few lilies and the occasional water ripple would make it stunning.

I think these are actually already planned.

What about a stone, maybe a frog on it ;)
