This may be widely known or maybe not. I have set up the ma 2.6 .scr file as a menu item in accessories. It gives me the function of turning it off and on whenever I want to. If this could cause any unseen problems I would like to know but, I prefer having it set up this way.

I don't quite get what you mean. Why not just click the icon?

I don't have any icons on my desktop. I prefer to have everything in my menus.

Yes, this new version combines all previous versions. There will be no separate MD version. You'll need a new Key Code, but it sounds like you qualify for a free upgrade. If so, you should receive one by email.

Jim, thank you. But, as you can see I amended my post as I went ahead and purchased the upgrade. Now you tell me I might qualify for a free upgrade? I didn't have Time before.

(Or, if you purchased Marine Aquarium during the Beta period five years ago.)

I honestly can't remember what I paid. I kept the Key Code but lost the receipt.

Why do people who bought the beta get it free as opposed to the people that bought 2.0? We all paid for it.

To encourage people to buy the Beta back when I was struggling, I promised that they'd get free updates.

I have been a long time user of both MA2 and MA Time. I have been waiting for an e-mail for the upgrade. But I just realized that I had an old e-mail address when I purchased both products. I went to the company's web-site to change my e-mail address to my new one. I'm hoping I'll eventually get a keycode for the new upgrade.

If you haven't heard anything in a week, email customer support. But everyone please give the system some time to get all the emails out. Poor Auden is already swamped with customer-support emails.

That did'nt work for me.I bought it when it was .099 beta,and still had to pay to get this update.

How do you know you had to pay, when the emails haven't even been sent out yet?

ONE MORE TIME... Everyone who thinks they have a free Key Code coming PLEASE give the system a week or so to find you.

If you jump in and pay for the upgrade, of course the credit card company is going to accept your money.

I can't believe how many people are demanding that Jim personally handle this situation.

Is there a way I can see pictures of the two new fish? I personally don't think I'll be buying this update (the clock doesn't really interest me), but any time you upgrade the system or add a bunch of fish/creatures, I'll happily be paying my money to you again. ;)

Look at the banner at the top of the page. The Achilles Tang is on the left. It is purple with an orange spot at the base of the tail. The Clearfin Lionfish is on the right.

It seems that all of Morgan's and my work on web pages is for naught. ;) For those that keep asking here are shots of the fish.

Ok people, Jim has asked numerous times, and JR has tried to explain things as well. PLEASE, give Prolific some time to get the scripts written, in working order, and emails sent out. EVERYONE that is due a keycode will get one.

Getting the new program up and available for new customers to purchase has to be the first priority, otherwise people would still be buying the old versions and they would need to be immediately updated with new Key Codes, downloads, etc. This would add to the already overloaded Customer-Support system. When all that is running smoothly, Prolific can turn their attention to getting free Key Codes out to those who are due them. As always, many people will have moved, changed their email addresses, set their Spam filter to eliminate us, or otherwise fallen through the cracks.
