Prolific's Database - BAD KEYCODES!!
 
Just tried to get my new keycode from Prolific and they don't have me in their database.What do you suggest I do now?Ive had a registered Deluxe Keycode since late 2000.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

Contact service@serenscreen.com, but please wait a bit before doing so. They will look up your records, but right now they are outnumbered 70,000 to 3.

Full name
E-mail you used to purchase the Aquarium
old serial number

If you can find your old e-mail from Jim about purchasing, just forward that to Service@serenescreen.com.

Looks like Prolific used a buggy key generator instead of the one they used for the Japanese rollout.

Version 1.1 of the Aquarium has been released... BUT, at least 10% of the keycodes Prolific generated this afternoon generating turned out to be BAD!

If your keycode won't work, please retry the Upgrade steps at SereneScreen.com AFTER MIDNIGHT Pacific time.



If the database does not recognize your e-mail address, please send an e-mail to Service@serenescreen.com with:


Your Full Name as it was written when you purchased the Aquarium
Your E-mail Address you used to purchase the Aquarium
Your Old Keycode you used with versions 996-99L of the Aquarium.

If you have the registration e-mail you got when you purchased the Aquarium, forward it to Service@serenescreen.com.

IM NOT IN THE DATABASE
 
Hi ,
i was one of the first buyers for the aquarium screensaver , i have sent more than one mail to service@serenescreen.com telling them that im NOT in the database (mail dd 19/01/02).

Also i started a thread a few days ago here on the forum ......but now the new version is out and me NO NEW VERSION !!

Please help me IM WAISTING AWAY ( hihihih )

I started this thread so feel obliged to post that Prolific has already received my info and has sent me a perfectly good keycode.Thanks Prolific and thanks Jim and Morgan.The Lionfish is beautiful.Also the new look of the background is very pleasing to the eye.Great job.It has been well worth the wait.

Incomplete VALID KEYCODE letter
 
I rec'd a letter with subject "Subject: VALID KEYCODE"

but the keycode is blank without a word or number and the letter look like not yet complete.

Stevepoon,

You tried to get a keycode while the database was rebuilding.

Not saying it's your fault. Prolific could have pulled that section of the website until it was done.

The rebuild is done now, so you should be able to get a good keycode.

Why are people sending more than one e-mail?

That's not going to increase your chances of getting a reply at light speed.

New Key how long to wait?
 
I purchased this program sept 2000, sent an E-mail to service about 7am this morning about getting a new key. I have the E-mail that I was sent when I purchased it and still doesn't work on the web site. How long should I wait before checking into it again. I know you have alot of requests. Great program.Thanks.

I think I would send another e-mail if I didn't get a reply (after x days/hours/minutes/whatever) and perhaps began suspecting it got lost on the way...

I emailed for the new update on the site where it says enter your email for keycode then i got the email but it says keycode then nothing no code number help

If you tried to get a keycode 14-10 hours ago, the keycodes were erased from the database and being rebuilt. This is because 10% of the keycodes were bad!

You should be getting a response in the next few hours I hope. Remember Prolific were up til 3am working on this (I was up til 5:30am) and so they just got to the office a few minutes ago.

Some hours ago, I have to buy the SereneScreen 1.1 and then I received a mail giving me:

Order ID: DELUXE: xxxxxxxxx

So I have to try to bring in code but, software says to me that the password is bad.

I am going to receive the keycode who can help me?

I just sent ONE mail, but after abaout 20 hours there is still no response! Are there that many problems?

And another thing! I submitted to both notifications services (that on serenescreen.con and yours too feldon) But I didn't recieve a notification that version 1.1 is out. Then I checked the Forum and saw that it is out already. So I tried my email address - nothing!

I must say that I can't understand the ones that are sending tons of mails to prolific! I think it will just slow down the progress! And I suppose It did!

Hey come on - the guys at prolific worked their a*** off just to finish this thing! They are tired and I can understand that they are not up to their normal level!

And I think everybody will get the new version if he really purchased it!

I am still curious to see the lionfish, but patience is a gift that is for gods sake with me :)

And so I want to thank Mr. Sachs another time for this beautiful screensaver!!!
