MA goes prime time.

Big Brother 4 features a big flat panel in the living room displaying MA. Looks great, good time slot. ;)

Plus screen credit at the end. (A first)

Got TiVo set to record it. Will grab some frames if I can.

I guess im missing something, I could'nt find it.

In the corner of the living room (where the big circular style couch is) there is a flat panel set up at a strange aspect. It's tall and narrow, like they took a wide screen flat panel and rotated it 90 degrees.

They use this flat panel for the 'hostess' to interact with the group, as the group is alone in the house. When it's not being used for the interaction, they were displaying MA. It really did look good, it's a pretty cool house they have set up for the contestants.

I created some confusion by merging this thread without an explanation. Apologies.

iMark, you're welcome to post your comments about the Big Brother 4 appearance, if you have anything to add.

My Tivo cut off the last few seconds of credits for Big Brother. Anyone notice if we got the screen credit we were promised?

Gerty 07-10-2003 12:52 PM

I missed last nights episode, but I did record it, so I'll check it out tonight and see if it got the credit.

NBC and CBS have a flexible relationship with time. If you don't have a lot of conflicting shows, you can set the TiVo to record Big Brother 4 for 1, 2, 5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes past the end of the program.

TiVo Central -> press "2" on the remote -> select the next Big Brother 4 recording (if you have it set to record) -> go to Recording Options

I don't have TiVo, but I did check out the website for it and it looks like something I'm considering getting. Do you like yours? (I would assume you do since you say you are a "TiVo fanatic" :) )

I still use the old VCR method!

I have two of the DirecTV ones. The DirecTV ones are integrated recorder/receivers so they have better picture quality and the ability to record 2 different shows simultaneously.

Either way, I love my TiVos. :)

Saw the aquarium, but did not see the credit at the end.... did I miss it? Anyone else see the credit?

Jim Sachs 07-12-2003 07:20 AM

My Tivo cut off the last few seconds again, but I have it set to record 2 extra minutes for the next episode.

Gerty 07-12-2003 12:27 PM

BTW are any of you watching BB4? If so, what are your thoughts?

On Friday's episode, they actually mentioned the Serene Screen, although they didn't call it that. I believe it was one of the guys telling Michelle (the young college student) to go stick her head through it.....I thought that was funny.

Jim Sachs 07-12-2003 10:51 PM

Yes, I saw that part. It was followed by a zoom-in shot of the plasma screen. I fast forward the show, because it's just too painful to watch.

xrayspex 07-13-2003 12:51 AM

My family is addicted to it, we have the live 24 hour internet feeds.

They show the plasma screen with MA on it all the time on the internet feeds.
