how's some Sun rays for the upper part ?
Love the new version 3 even as beta but was wondering if it's possible to get some sun rays flicking to the upper part of the screen. Changing every pixel of the background each frame is a tremendous resource-drain. As computers get more powerful, it's becoming more likely that I'll put in something like this. At the moment, we still get a lot of email from people who need to turn up the Sleep() number just to keep their CPU fan quiet. Moving the background would need at least double the clock-cycles that I'm currently using.

Jim, - PLEASE don't do it. Or at least provide an off-switch. - IMO it would NOT, "make it even more realistic".
