Blue Ring Angelfish

Hey, it seems like this fish doesn't have eyes. It looks quite bizare. I thought it was a sort of her natural colour pattern (fake eyes and simmilar staff) but no, there are two holes in places where eyes should be.

The eyes are there, and they move normally.

Maybe it is up to my computer, I do not know?

You are using the old version, with those 5 dreaded Prolific fish. Download the newer version with all Sachs fish.

Harsh words... Dreaded???

Jim Sachs 01-11-2005 12:31 AM

I don't think I got a full night's sleep the whole time those fish were in my tank.

vm27 01-11-2005 05:49 PM

Ah, I see now....

... and the fish you have photographed looks nicer than mine. :)
Thanks for support anyway and keep on doing great job!

Jim, a suggestion: My tank, once in a while, develops problem, and some weaker fish may not make it. You can program your tank to target "alien" fish and make them more prone to disease, like the white spots. Then you give them about a week to expire. Then you can get some sleep.

This is SereneScreen. Nobody dies.

Comments like this must be why Jim redid them in the first place. :)

I'll ask Prolific to make some new ugly ones... then you'll redo them, before continuing on the freshwater tank... ;)

Jim Sachs 01-12-2005 04:17 PM

You may get your wish. I've been talking with Prolific some more, and it looks like I'll be doing the MA update before Freshwater.

Bob 01-12-2005 06:50 PM

Jim,

What kinds of things can we expect to be included in the update?

Jim Sachs 01-12-2005 08:28 PM

Wide 3D background, moving anemones - you know, the stuff we've been talking about for 3 years.

Wow! Jim, this is really big news!

Please revive that WIP thread and keep us abreast on everything.

Do you have a schedule in your head of what needs to be done first, second, etc...?

When will you start?

Jim Sachs 01-12-2005 10:32 PM

I start as soon as I finish designing my new home, hopefully by the end of the month. Then there are those pesky 3D format problems to be worked out.

Tiny Turtle 01-13-2005 03:01 AM

Good thinking, Yodel. – och god fortsättning!

Bob 01-13-2005 09:49 AM

This is wonderful news. I'm really glad to hear it and I know I'm not alone.

Of course, I hope this just doesn't change things from not making progress on the fresh water aquarium to not making progress on the MA. ;-)
