I don't want to start a... which is a better browser war.... topic here,
but. Netscape really is a better browser. I am sure it depends a lot on what you get used to and get familiar with.

Because of the dominance of MS most coding is done for IE and my access to those pages suffer with Netscape. But browsing with Netscape means I get very vew popups. Never have I reached a site that changed my home page. Never have I had to pull the plug on my computer because I had 50 open IE porn sites that I could not close fast enough. The IE download information is not nearly as consistant as that of Netscape. I can keep completely separate Netscape accounts without loging off / on (perhaps one can do this with IE as well, but I have not figured that one out yet). My email address book has never been compromised and used as base to send out viri (s?).
Just a few reasons, to each thier own.
And, I use Netscape in protest to the practices of MS. A small and probably futile gesture.
