Hi Jim, Made the change and it still freezes. In the event log there are some messages in the application section about a database engine starting and stopping but nothing that shows an obvious error problem.
sample: "wuaueng.ddl (1376) SUS20ClientDataStore. The database engine
stopped the instance (0)." Thanks for your help. I truly love the screensaver and hate to lose the ability to use it.

Now if only I could put it on my big screen tv!haha
