Thanks for the kind words, fubarhq. The Myst example is a good one - it has been several years since the original and they just came out with the newest one. Of course, I still consider the original Myst one of the "new crop" of computer games since I've been doing this for almost 20 years now. It's an interesting genre, with moody, highly detailed still 3D renderings, and I enjoyed it a lot. One of my former students became very successful doing a couple of games in the same vein, "The 7th Guest", and "The 11th Hour".
