Harp and piano seem most realistic across the different sorts of systems, i.e. with low as well as high end audio cards / samples, so maybe a piece with just those voices would be OK?  The default MIDI sounds that ship with Windows are horrific. Most decent sound cards provide drivers that replace those sounds with better ones.
