Some food for anyone who might be working on multiple monitor support for the Aquarium screen savers (PC's)

Having finally configured my system to have two monitors side by side, displaying 1280x1024 each, I've had a chance to play with the configurations a little. I've also seen how the various screen savers I have react to the multiple monitors.

Flurry actually has an option for dual monitor support. Unfortunately, OpenGL performance (I think) is lacking on my video card, so these options slow the saver down so much that they are not worth having. It looks cool to have the screen saver span the two monitors, though.

The other screen saver I have that supports multiple monitors, albeit differently, is the Finding Nemo screensaver from Disney's web site:

Click on Downloads > Screensaver

This screen saver duplicates its image on both of my monitors.

I hope this will help whomever may be working on the multiple monitor support. As a developer, I know that having examples is often very helpful when trying to achieve similar results.

My configuration:

Matrox G450 Dual-Head 32MB
- DualHead Multi-Display
- Separate resolutions and color palettes for both displays

I would be happy to help with any testing relating to this configuration if the Prolific developers do not have a Matrox-based system.
