You may be on to something. My usual resolution for my 17 inch monitor is 832x624 and I can see the jaggies. However, if I change the resolution to 1280x1024, then the jaggies are almost gone!
In either resolution, the fishes are the same size, so its not an issue where the fishes are smaller in the 1280x1024 resolution, so the jaggies are not as visible.
