Embarassed Help how do I get marine aquarium to work as my screen saver?

I went to FAQ and dragged it to screen saver folder in library in the hd, but now what do I do? I went to system preferences and nothing. What am I doing wrong? I might need to be led by the hand , sorry

Welcome to the SereneScreen Aquarium Forum!

For future reference, this is the general discussion area for the Aquarium. We have a separate Aquarium forum just for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X where you can get help from other Mac users!

I'll try to answer your question though...

Please make sure that the file is named exactly "Marine Aquarium.saver". Also make sure that you are dragging the screen saver version of the Aquarium to /Library/Screen Savers/ and not the standalone application version.

Please let us know if you have any further problems.

Well, he does look different from when he visited a couple of weeks ago. I just figured that his trip to California took a lot out of him.

Unless Windows suddenly got a Library\Screen Savers folder and a System Preferences control panel.

Maybe he's a Windows user and read the Mac install page by mistake.

That's what I'm concerned about. It would certainly explain why it won't install.
