Nope, I don't have the Koran selected, it just randomly comes up sometimes.
Now, if there were a juv. Emperor (see picture on left) then it would be a permanent fish.

I typically use the following selections:
1 [RANDOM] 2 Copperband Butterflyfish 3 Flame Angel 4 Golden Butterflyfish 5 Percula Clownfish 6 Purple Tang 7 Yellow Tang I find that this gives a good variety of color. Don Last edited by Floyd312; 02-19-2002 at 02:16 PM. |

With 1.1 I've left my earlier setup for this:
Lionfish Blue Damselfish Flame Angel Percula Clownfish Royal Gramma Three-stripe Damselfish Lionfish I've chosen the smaller species as it makes the Lions appear bigger. |

Right now my selections are as follows:
1) Forceps Fish, commonly called a Long-Nosed Butterfly. I had one of these in my tank. 2) French Angel, Never had one of these, but always wanted one. Thanks Jim 3) Koran Angel, Never even thought about one of these before. 4) Percula Clownfish, Also had several of these in my tank. 5) Lionfish, Never had one of these, I was forever sticking my hands in the tank, and didn't want to take the chance. 6) Random 7) Random

I change my fishes around about once a week, and currently, I'm using this set:
2 Lionfish (they just look sooooo good!) 1 Koran Angel 1 Flame Angel 1 Queen Angel (I think this is one of the nicest fish. Wonderful texturing.) 1 Picasso Triggerfish 1 Copperband Butterfly I actually really like the Regal Tang but wish the fins "flapped" up and down as they ought to. That's what I've always loved about that fish. However, I know Jim has that planned for a future release, so I'll wait for that. |

1 lionfish (of course, gotta have at least one in there, they are so cool)
1 percula clownfish (cute little devils) 1 koran angel (love those black, blue, and white stripes) 4 random (nice variety) I also have the 'do not duplicate random choices' checked. I've noticed that with this checked, it also wont duplicate any selected fish. I have not seen 2 lionfish or 2 koran angels yet.

It sure is interesting finding out how different people appreciate certain fish. Starfire considers the Queen Angel the nicest while I rank it together with the Regal Angel as the least attractive. (The old Queen was nice, though)

Ooops! My mistake! I meant the *Regal* Angel, not Queen. Tiny Turtle, I liked the old Queen Angel a lot too, but I don't like the new one. Looks really fake, some how. I personally think it's the "least nice" fish in the SS.

Hmm. Tiny, you don't like the Regal Angel? Any particular reason why? I frankly have never seen a real Regal Angel before, so I have no idea how realisitic it looks. I like it because I like the "colour scheme".

I think it's something with the eye and the color scheme. I like the "least nice" phrasing. Let's stick with that if we have to be negative...

How about a poll like this: What is your 'least nice' fish in the aquarium?

No, not really. Expressing admiration for the SS feels OK, but organized negativity is something that I'm not too sure would go out too well with Mr. Sachs (or a whole lot of other people, for that matter).
A poll about which is everyone's favorite fish would be better and you could see which would finish in last place (I know that "Most seldom picked as favorite" isn't the same as "Least nice", but anyway). That wouldn't work right now, though. – A week after the release of the Lionfish, I think we all know who would end up in the top spot, huh? /Tiny Polling |

Rather than just a "vote for favorite" poll, is there any way to set up a "ranking" poll, where all the fish are listed, and people number their favorites in order of choice? I'd like to know which ones to drop off if culling becomes necessary.
Also, one problem is that some of this may be resolution-related. Some of the fish have patterns that just don't do well at lo-res.

You lost me there, Morgan. Could you explain a bit? (Hope I haven't stepped on anybody's toes)

O.k. Morgan, you've got your orders from the Jim. I'll be looking for the "Ranking Poll" soon.

Wow, Yellow - that was a lot of work. I'm surprised by the popularity of the Percula - it's one of my least favorites. The movement still needs a lot of tweaking.
