Keyboard volume adjustment is not hooked up yet (next Beta). Maybe you have "Exit on Mouse Move" checkmarked, in which case the program would just see your keypress as a signal to exit.

No... "exit on mouse move" is not checked. Interestingly.. in Windows XP.. same notebook dual boot.. the sound / volume keys do not work... and will not kill the SS. Seems to be a Vista thing then..

It might be specific to certain computers/laptops. Again, Gateway FX6860. The touch controls on my laptop do not trigger the screensaver to exit. I DO have exit on mouse move.

Wait a minute - are you guys talking about keyboards with dedicated Volume controls on them? If so, those go directly to the sound system and adjust the global volume for all programs. My program doesn't even sense them. I have been using the + and - keys for adjusting the volume within my program, but I currently have them disabled.

My Acer Aspire notebook... like most, have keys along the side.. as part of the multimedia feature.. for playing DVD's etc. But while under the Vista operating system.. these volume keys will shut down the SS.
You may not have the keys wired into the SS BUT.. if I touch the keys.. up or down the SS quits |

That might be something that's outside of our control. I'll try to find a machine like that to test on.
