The Final Frontier
Dear Jim
I have a suggestion. As your first name implies, you could have the power to 'beam us all up'! How about developing an Interplanetary screensaver? With all the fantastic HQ images from Hubble and spacecraft think of the images that could flash across our screens. Passing through the rings of Saturn, watching the Great Red Spot on Jupiter and the sights of a Martian landscape. A comet slowly drifts past and in the distance a supernovae bursts. That would truly be fantastic. As a follow up you could bring out an Interstellar screensaver. The limits there are REALLY endless. |

It's a nice idea but I doubt it will ever happen. With what Jim has planned already he might have to live until he's 173 to get it finished.........
He already has 4 of these savers to finish, and a movie after that. By the way, WELCOME TO THE FORUM!!

There are already several screensavers like you described available on the interent. I don't know how good they are. I've tried a few in the past and they weren't too bad.

I'll leave that one for other developers. My "niche" is Desktop Life: hyper-realistic scenes that are about the right scale to fit on a large monitor in real-size. No amoebas, no dinosaurs, no space scenes.
