Lifeglobe Gone missing? Upgrade issues.
Hi,
Has Lifeglobe gone missing? I am unable to reach the website. Here is the reason I need to connect them: On 03/08/2009, I was on Prolific's website to buy MA3 and I decided to upgrade my Goldfish Aquarium Version 1 (Download Version) to Version 2. The description of the upgrade was "Special upgrade price for version 1.0 owners. You need to insert the Version 1.0 CD or Keycode to verify ownership." So I purchased the upgrade and downloaded the linked file and installed it but I am unable to upgrade. The program wants a the CD Version in the drive and does not allow me it use my Version 1 key. Does anyone know of a work-around for this issue? Back to the website connection issue: It seems that when I traceroute to lifeglobe it is bouncing back and forth between IP 205.134.230.134 and 205.134.230.133 while attempting to get to 205.134.235.136. I guess they have some IP routing issues or they are no longer hosting a website. Any ideas? Thank you for your time! Happy Days!
The upgrade issue has been resolved. It seems that you need the "Goldfish Aquarium 2.0 - Windows Upgrade DL" keycode to make the magic happen. Josh at Prolific's Customer Support kindly issued me the correct keycode. Thanks again to everyone who helped me get this resolved! -Ed |

It's a shame this is discontinued, but it's still a nice aquarium as it stands.

What makes you think Goldfish is discontinued? It's alive and well. You can go directly to Eric's site here: http://e-goldfish.com/
