Time slip
Since installing MA3beta, downloaded upgrade from Serenescreen I am experiencing strange behaviour from my PC clock - Windows displayed time.
Occasionally I will find the clock is running several hours slow and needs to be reset. A couple of days later I will need to reset it again. I am running MA3 as my screensaver and was wondering whether the PC was losing time when this was running. Could there be a problem, or is this just a coincidence? Dave |

One has nothing to do with the other. Check your CMOS battery on the motherboard, sounds like it's getting ready to die. You probably need to replace it.
Welcome to the forum Dave.

The Aquarium just reads the time, it doesn't write to the register. I seem to recall someone having this problem several years ago and I think it did turn out to be the motherboard battery.

Funny thing. My time was going haywire a few weeks back too. Replaced the CMOS battery and all is well.
Maybe MA3 is sucking the battery dry :-) Perhaps a suckerfish? |

Thanks guys. Have had the aquarium since version 2, recently upgraded and looking forward very much to all Jim's new developments. Regarding the battery, I'm keeping an eye on it at present and will soon change it. Just can't face diconnecting everything and opening it up to get the battery number at present! Soon though, before disaster strikes.
