Background images
Has anyone ever mention about being able to edit the background I don't mean the colour gradient but to use a bitmap image as an option....This I woudl lie to see implemented.

People have asked for it over the years, but it's not something I am interested in implementing.

thank you for replaying Jim, wow I am surprised you would not consider this option..then I suggest you should at least consider improving the background seriously a gradient with all the detail you put into this project..yet not even consider improving the background....
so what is the real reason why you have declined this next logical step in developing the software. |

Artistic integrity.
People would add novelty images, pornographic images, highly inappropriate imagery, etc. and that is what it would come to be known for, not the Aquarium itself.

so why not make it a choice of several backgrounds and not user customisable.
You could have a rock background, how about accepting user suggestions and implementing a few of them. |

It's concievable, but fairly unlikely.
