Next Generation!
Jim,
Take a look at what my son just sent me. He's currently in his final semester of electrical engineering at the University of Wisconsin Madison. They've built a new workout center there. And my son remembered that I've always had your screensaver and just sent me this:
Sincerely,

Thanks, Justin! Too bad it has to be the Roku version. I've offered to help them tune it up but they're happy enough with it as is.

That is so wrong.
For unknown reasons the idea of visiting this site after many, many years away popped into my head. Lo and behold I see a message from Jim Sachs posted just yesterday under the topic "Next Generation". Untold excitement washed upon me in the belief that he created the topic to announce he was starting work on a brand new version of Marine Aquarium. Only to my dismay to discover that he was responding to a post regarding the Roku device. There was never ever another screen saver that came even close to Marine Aquarium even after 20+ years. I don't know what's worse, hoping that development will resume on Marine Aquarium or waiting for Star Citizen Squadron 42 to be released. |
