Was anyone able to get Marine Aquarium 2.6 working with Windows 11?

Yes, it works perfectly for me. Why, are you experiencing a problem with it?

I'd suggest it's due to an incompatibility with your graphics card drivers. My MA2.6 works OK with my basic Intel UHD 630 drivers. If you're using a graphics card from a different manufacturer, check what drivers are available and perhaps try one that has more support for legacy applications.

The Intel Iris graphics drivers are known to be problematic with MA3.x as well. It's mentioned in this related thread:

Ma2 uses DirectX 5, which has been abandoned by Microsoft for about 20 years. MA3 uses DirectX 9, which has only been abandoned for about 10 years. It's sort of a miracle that either one still works.

On MA3, I got the fish trails; someone reported that there were no fish trails on MA2.6, so I tried it. The fish trails were from the driver, and it looks like my MA2 issue is a driver also, not the OS! |
