Serene not working, help?
I always had my Serene saver set to come up after 1 minute and never any problems.
While surfing this site soem savers were mentioned and I decided to check them out . Serene saver is the best so I decided to go back to SS. I set it to go off in one minute like I use to have it. It never come on anymore. So I check to see and screen saver is back to "none". So I figure I set it to none and set it to Serene again. The problem is , it keeps reverting back to none! Serene works when I click on the desktop icon ,but I want it to come on after 1 minute again all by itself. Where can I set it to my default screen saver? This started to happen after I loaded different savers. I deleted the screen saver and it's still happening. tHANKS SO MUCH :> dEBORAH |

Sounds like the old Windows "space-in-the-name" bug. Any screen saver which uses a space in its name will cause WinXP to not accept it as the default screen saver. Find the Aquarium file and rename it MarineAquarium.scr, or something else with no spaces.

Click the Aquarium icon or filename with the right mouse button, then click Install.

Pretty soon we'll all be connected to each other with modems in our heads, then we won't even need those few keystrokes.
