MA/MAT owners -- I need a few brave souls
For the thrill of being the first on your block, I need some people running each OS X version we support -- 10.1.5, 10.2.6 and 10.3 -- to test a build of MA and MAT which has the following fixes:
1. Bubbles and clock work correctly on Panther 2. Clock is properly synched on multiple monitor displays 3. Orphan settings window in System Preferences fixed Basically, I need you to run the build and tell me: 1. What OS you are running 2. What hardware you have 3. Performance comparisons with pervious version of MA/MAT (use the 's' key to show fps and screen dimensions with "limit fps" turned off) 4. If everything looks like it should Soon I'll have a build which offloads some work to the video card and should increase performance or decrease CPU utilization significantly. This will help people who are running on PowerBooks to keep the fan off, and those who run MA/MAT as a background image so that more of the CPU is available for doing real work. It is also necessary infrastructure for Goldfish, which will be much more taxing of your hardware. Contact me through the feedback link on the OrderNDev website and I'll e-mail you the URL. Thanks, Jim O'Connor

No takers? I had one person leave feedback saying that he had the disappearing bubbles problem on Panther but he didn't give me any way to get back in touch with him.

I run Marine Aquarium 2.0 on a G4 867, GeForce 2mx 32MB, OS 10.2.8. Post or PM me if I can be of help. |

I'd love to test for you. I'm running MA on a new 17" PowerBook 1.33Ghz/512MB RAM.
I have 2 partitions one with 10.2.8 and the other with 10.3 build 7b85. Let me know if you want me to test. Thanks, Jason |

Hi Folks,
I can use people with 10.2.x and 10.3. Please leave your e-mail address in feedback to www.orderndev.com and I'll e-mail you the url to the files. My upload speeds aren't very high so I don't want the URLs to get wide spread use. Thanks.
