will keycode work on OSX/PC versions?
Will my MA2 PC keycode work on an OSX version of MA2? Or do I have to buy the OSX version as well?

No reason he shouldn't get an answer here as well. I think it works, but am not prepared to bet my life on it.
Jim? Morg? Anyone know for sure? /Tiny Bump Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.
"We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita. Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says, 'Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.' I suppose we all thought that, one way or another." /Robert Oppenheimer on witnessing the first thermonuclear detonation in history. |

Cliff is right - the Mac Forum is the place where Jim O'Connor and Michael Babin hang out. It was my intention that the same Key Code would work on both types of machine, but I don't know if it actually got implemented that way.

We have been known to wander outside of the Mac forum on occasion.
It should work. Any particular reason for the question rather than just downloading the Mac version and trying it? Is it a/the pivotal deciding factor in deciding whether to migrate from a PC to a Mac? Of course, there's the usual disclaimer that if you're running software on more than one machine (especially if in use simultaneously), then you should own a copy for each machine. I believe this applies to Prolific's software as well, but I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm not remembering correctly. From a purely selfish point of view, we (Order N, the Mac developers) don't make any money if you buy the PC version and then use that key to register/enable the Mac version. - Michael |
