Won't work as a program??
I haven't fooled around with my screensavers for awhile--but just downloaded the new version! Thanks for the good work.
But...now I just happened to notice that none of my screensavers (goldfish, mat, marine or any others for that matter) will not open as programs. They work fine as screensavers. But running the TEST mode or clicking on desktop icons only gets the settings screen. Preview works in display settings. They all used to work. Whaaaats happening??? I must be missing something. Thanks for your help.

Uninstalled then reinstalled Goldfish. It works fine now. Must have been something on my end.

I did uninstall all the Serene products and reinstalled. It did not fix the problem. I will try it again.
Funny thing is this is happening to every screen saver--not just the Serene Screen ones. I just haven't noticed, until I went to look at the new version of MA--love the widescreen on my flat monitor.

Tried rebooting, uninstall, install to no avail.
There is no icon to run the program under ...program files-serene screen-ma2. I'm stumped.

Have you done anything with AutoCAD?

No...this is a pretty straight forward pc. Can't for the life of me figure out why these programs don't load right.

Well, I persevered and found the answer on the "Goldfish" web site.
If you run into this problem: AutoCAD or some other program has changed the association of the .scr file type. Here is a way to work around that: 1. Open your My Documents folder and select "View" ("Tools" for Windows XP) from the Menu Bar then click on "Folder Options..." 2. Click the "View" tab, uncheck "Hide file extensions for known file types" and click the "Apply" button. This will allow you to view the file extensions for all files. 3. Close your My Documents window. 4. Delete the LifeGlobe Aquarium icon from your Desktop. 5. Copy and Paste the Goldfish.scr file to your Desktop from your C:\Windows\System (System32 for Windows XP) folder. 6. Right-click on the new Aquarium icon and select "Rename" from the menu. Change the Icon's name to Goldfish.exe. You can now run the Goldfish Aquarium manually by double-clicking this Icon.
