How do you get the starfish to climb the glass?

I just installed this on my computer and was wondering how you get the starfish to climb up the glass.I enabled it in the settings menu but it doesn't seem to be climbing it.Any suggestions would be gladley appreciated and helpful.

You should have your aquarium lights set to "automatic."
The starfish will not climb onto the glass unless it is dark.
