MD version (capabilities)

Am I misunderstanding or misconfigured, I assumed
the MD versions would allow the screen saver
to span across the displays like 1 big virtual
monitor swimming from screen to screen.

I can only seem to make it duplicate itself on
the other screens. Is that all it does or do I not
have something set correct?

Using 2 Geforce Fx5200 cards w/latest official driver (61.17). Connecting a crt and 3 identical flat panels.

Thanks much..

P.S. Just to mention the Xp savers like Marquee, Mystify etc.. are working correct across all monitors.

Sorry, but no that is "all" it does. The "Multi" moniker stems from the fact that it can be used on both a 4:3 and a 16:9 display. Try the search function here and I'm sure you can find some of the previous threads with the same inquiry.

Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.

I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita. Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says,
'Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.'
I suppose we all thought that, one way or another.

I'm sorry if you think it "stinks" but there are 2 versions of the artwork. One that is 1024 x 768 which is the right size for a 4:3 monitor, and one that is 1280 x 768 which is the right size for a 16:9 monitor. Forcing one of these to fit over 2 monitors (2048 x 768) would look quite ugly.

At some point in the future, there will be a set of artwork that will work over 2 monitors.

Guess I kind of forgot about the background and
it being a static image.

Two would be nice.. of course 4 would be better but
understand that current design makes the whole on
the fly scalability kind of impossible short of looking
anywhere from odd to ugly.

When? lol! Please don't answer that! It was only meant as a joke.
