I'm still stuck with 3D format issues, so it won't be anytime soon.

It is really hard to believe that the freshwater need soo long time to be released. For many of us will be enough a screensaver like Goldfish with freshwater species. It will be still enough time to make it better and better and add more species and plants or redesign something. Why not using the good tools and experience from the MA2 and Goldfish to create this FA?

Anyway, just forget the freshwater Aquarium is better for waiting.
After the breakthrough, we may receive a wonderful ss. I check this site from everyday to everyweek and now two or three weeks once. Just keeping checking will be ok. |

I think if Jim wouldn't see a little light at the end of the tunnel of this 'converting Lightwave objects to DirectX' thing, he would just use the 'old' method, right?

The freshwater aquarium is taking so long because it is not just a matter of re-doing the artwork. Jim also has to do some re-doing of the code as well. It will be released with the 3-D background remember.

Yellow Tang -
Nope, I won't be using the old routines. They would only work for fish that are shaped very close to saltwater fish, and wouldn't work at all for invertabrates. Been there, done that. If I can't break new ground with the Freshwater tank, then it's not worth doing.
