I plan to finish the 3.0 update for MA first. Yes, the work is under way.
There seems some confusion regarding 2.5 and 3.0, even at Encore, the publisher of the CD version. Just to clarify: 1. Version 2.5 combines all the previous versions into one package (regular, clock, logo, and widescreen). No new fish or features will be introduced in 2.5. It is basically ready for release now. 2. Version 3.0 will contain a major re-write of the entire 3D engine. It has a full 3D background which is much wider than even the existing widescreen version. This background is necessary for the future introduction of fish and invertebrates which interact with the corals, sand and rocks. The camera will be able to pan back and forth within this larger tank. There will be moving soft corals. Though the fish will be the same species as in the current program, their behavior will be enhanced (schooling, chasing, feeding, etc). The bubble column will be more realistic. This version is a HUGE undertaking, containing as many as 10 times the textures and polygons as the original. There are many obstacles to overcome, and it is simply too soon to guess at a release date.

I think he/she means Actinic Lighting, which I'd love to see, but means 1 more texture for each fish.

I don't plan to include actinic lighting in 3.0, but I haven't ruled it out for a future release.

I think it is very well planned with good balance which is pleasing to the eye.
I was going to say it looked more like a fresh water tank, and then I saw your next post. But I see you have a marine background and a piece of coral, which is fine, it does not take away from the beauty of your tank, but personally I would not mixed decor like that, in other words, if it was meant for a saltwater tank then I would not use it in a freshwater one, but that is just me. What kind of fish do you mainly keep?

Yes, I really do like that. It is different with a rock formation as a background. Great work!

Are there any fishies in the tank yet? I'm just curious. Anyway, it's a nice tank.
