Screen Saver doesn't come on
I have set MA as my screen saver, but it doesn't work, running as a program works fine, it just doesn't come up as the screensaver. Instead I get the standard XP bouncing around the screen.
Being my home computer, there are 5 accounts. I have set each one to use MA as the screensaver, but still only get the default XP. Any suggestions? |

How many of these accounts had Admin status when you installed MA? Is the screen saver selection changing to the flying windows in the Display Properties/Screen Saver or is it still set to MA?

All of the accounts have admin privileges. I checked a little more this morning and found that if someone is logged in, MA does come on as the screensaver. It's when everyone is logged out (sign-on screen) that it goes to the XP screensaver. I thought it defaults to the saver of the last person to log in/out. In the past my daughter has had weird savers that come on after she logs out.

There's a trick to getting MA to come on when you are logged out.

Found it!
This little utility will let you configure which Screen Saver is shown at the Login screen: http://www.voodoofiles.com/7786 (click Download Mirror #1)

That looks like a good fix, except the 'Download Mirror #1' link is broken. I sent a message to the webmaster to fix it.

Also, Microsoft has a specific procedure for changing the Windows Logon screen saver. They are outlined here on the Microsoft Support website:
