I was just wondering if there was a way to create a desktop shortcut that opens the screen saver in Windowed mode. Currently I am running a desktop shortcut that opens it in Full Screen, then hitting F to switch to windowed mode. Is there a command line switch that will open the SS in windowed mode?

Sorry there are no settings or commandline switches like this. I don't know of any plans either, although it has been requested before

This will probably be added to a future version.
