Sharks Upgrade from CD Pack
I purchased a Marine Aquarium 2.0 and Sharks 1.0 bundle pack CD. I realize that I have to buy the upgrade to Marine Aquarium 2.6, but it seems the upgrade from Sharks 1.0 to 2.0 is free. How do I upgrade with the CD (which, the instructions state, acts as my serial number)?
I've looked all over the forum and the website for an answer to this question. In the forum, the question was asked but not answered and in the LifeGlobe FAQ for Sharks, the link for this specific question is broken. P.S. Is there a Version History list that states the differences from version 2.0 to 2.5 to 2.6 of Marine Aquarium? Thanks, Brian |

2.5 is Marine Aquarium 2 and Marine Aquarium Time plus the Widescreen version all rolled into one.
2.6 adds 2 more fish.

Thanks for the reply
feldon31,
Appreciate the info on the Marine Aquarium. I guess no one knows about the Sharks upgrade from CD, though. |

If I'm not mistaken, just put the cd in the drive when you install the upgrade. It should recognize the cd and the upgrade should progress normally.

OK, here's a dumb question...
Where do I get the Sharks 2.0 upgrade file? Is it the demo that you download from the website here?

There is one download for Sharks 2.0 that covers all possible conditions.

Hmmmm...
Feldon,
Thanks for your "Prolific" help (pun intended *groan*) but it doesn't look like I'm going to get Sharks 2.0. You were right, the installer from the website says enter your key or place your original Sharks CD in the drive and it will be detected and the program automatically upgraded. Unfortunately, the installer doesn't recognize my Marine Aquarium/Sharks bundle CD as a Sharks 1.0 original CD source. I emailed LifeGlobe to ask for help, but they haven't written me back yet. Thanks again, Brian |

I'm sure they will get back to you. Give it 24 hours or so on the reply.

Thanks to you too, Jav. I'll report back my findings once they answer my inquiry. I'm sure others will run into this situation since I'm seeing more and more bundles popping up at discount stores everywhere.
