Ditto that. That is an absolutely gorgeous pic, so rich and full of color, movement and life that coral is. (my current wallpaper, thanks. ) p.s. check your PM . Glad to read you didn't have to travel too far from home to get it.

I stopped by the local aquarium store today to check some things out. I was pretty close to right on the pricing for a tank Jim. For one exactly like the one below its $2,455.00 for a 180 gallon setup. That includes everything; tank, stand, lights, etc., the only thing left would be the filter system you choose which for one like I would get is about $300. Other than that all you need is the saltwater, fish, and any corals you want for decoration. So pretty much ~ 3k - 3,500.00 which is what I guessed before. It certainly should give you more options for photography on certain items if you went this way.
I may end up with one like this yet before its over with.

That is the same tank Cat and I were looking at when I got the fish. I am going back over in about a week or so when they get my blue jack back in.

We went to about a dozen of the top-rated aquarium stores in the Bay area over the last few days. Most were so pitiful that I can't believe they got any good reviews at all. But there was one standout, a store which made the rest of the trip worthwhile. That store was "All About Fish", 102 Second Avenue South, Pleasant Hill California 94523. The owner was very friendly, and I got a lot of good source material.

No composed postcard pics, but the place has an enormous selection of corals, clams, etc. I got a lot of shots of individual objects I can use.

Love the purple and green colors. I think with a tank full of corals like that, I might have one running without any fish at all. Of course I doubt that any coral will be able to match the beauty of the new fish.

? regarding 3.0
I saw that in 3.0 there would be new fish. Does this mean that all the fish will be changed or that there will be more added to the present line up? I would hate not to have such great fish like the Clown trigger and so many others.
Thanks Rob |

The plan is for 3.0 to have the same fish as 2.6, but all the fish will be re-done.

How about if you guys tried and show some restraint when posting. Could you keep ''em a bit shorter or at least divide them up in paragraphs? My eyes hurt from reading all that text.
Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.
