Really? Not for me it doesn't and I view the forum from 3-4 different PCs daily at home and from work using IE6.

Yeah, that would be the same effect I saw using Netscape, but not on IE6.
My two IE6 conform to the DL standard...
Heh heh, the "DL Standard", I like the sound of that.

Oops. That crazy Signup script went nuts.
Also, I have way too many news items on the front page. Fixing...

Ok, how does the page look on Netscape 4 now?
https://www.feldoncentral.com/Sachs/ I also moved a lot of news items to the Archive page. And I also fixed up the Wishlist page to not have the repeating background as well.

so I guess 4.7x doesn't mind my CSS tags. I think I tried the same or similar tag and it made Netscape 4.0.x crash hard.

My unread posts get (got?) marked as read when I exit / close. I don't know how long this has been like this, I normally read them all when I log on.
But, today there were a significant number when I logged on..... got distracted and logged off. Now when I logged on there is only 10 or so. This with Netscape 7.01 (sorry) and Windows98SE (sorry for that too) For what it is worth Ralph Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889 – 1951) The limits of my language are the limits of my mind. All posts are marked read after 30 minutes. It's quite frustrating.

So the moral of the story is, when you show up be prepared to read all the posts you have missed or come back later when you can.

Hopefully in vB3.1 they will finally fix this once and for all.

Hi everybody,
first post since months ... but I still was around watching you ;-) Feldon, I think I suggested it once before, but it seems not to be heard: Could you add another bread-crumb-navigation below the block of posts at the end of the page? It is really tireing to scroll all the way up to the top after reading a thread, just because one wants to get to the overview-page.

How's that?
I also streamlined the Thread display. I removed Rules, moved "Search" to the top and fixed a few other things.

I've always just hit the back button on my browser. But to those who don't this is a nice addition.

vB3 is up to RC3 on the releases and bug fixes. There have been several things to take care of, but its getting closer. It has many new options. Hopefully soon.

I just started using Firefox 0.8 (the site looks fine with it BTW) and noticed that maybe VB has taken over the icon that shows up next to the URL... Mozilla didn't show them at all, so I don't know how long it's been that way... How about putting a fish up there instead?
I don't watch commercials.
