Yes, hoping to launch with 7. Four are done now.
Still working on the DX8 conversion, but at least I'm nearing the point where it looks about the same as it did in Dx6 (except slower, jerkier, and blurrier in windowed mode).

Still, that's great news.

A quick update -
The conversion of the Freshwater program to DX8 should be complete by the end of the day, and then I can get back to forward progress. Yesterday I added the sound of the bubbles, when they are released by the treasure chest. Turned out pretty well.

Hey, that sounds nice. The following work should show some more progress on the screen than the conversation did -> satisfies you more -> work is more fun -> makes you work harder -> the aquarium is finished earlier

Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.

No snapshots. This thing isn't going to look like much until it's nearly complete.

...and the whole background. And the moving plants. And the lightplay. And a user interface.

For some reason I had thought the background was done.... doh! I guess it was just the chest.

for a first version it will be for many people this things enough:
background lightning fishes a minimal user interface - the sound, bubbles, and chest are for me not so important. |

I agree with you, memlin
A minimal version should be enough to satisfy our curiosity and to test the software on our PCs. |

The problem with making a program like this is that when you add one thing and fix two bugs you might end up with a new bug (or more ). Releasing a heavily limited version, Beta-test it and then add all the stuff needed for it to be a sellable product, you might need to start over with the beta-testing/bugsquashing...
