The mere fact that there is an error message is not unusual. But that particular error message is.

You've got to edit that out and update the security on your website, Jim.

Both of you seem to be trying to connect using SSL. Fish-byte.com is not an SSL site. Don't use https:, just use http: (or just www.fish-byte.com.)

Still waiting for confirmation from Michael, but I think I've fixed the non-waving-Featherduster bug in v3.3.

Hello Jim,
So I think that soon we will have the official version of the software "Marine Aquarium v 3.3" perhaps with the signature?
Good day.

Cave of the eel ?

This is not a criticism, but more of an observation:

I love the eel, and really think it is a great addition to the screensaver, but the more I watch it, the more I am distracted by the cave.....To me, it looks more like a man made tunnel than a natural coral outcrop.

I was wondering if in a future version, it would be possible to remodel the cave entrance to make it look less man made and more natural?

This was an actual piece of lava rock that I had bought. Remember - this is an aquarium, not a reef, so each piece would have been chosen and placed by the owner of the tank.

I realize that Jim.....But couldn't the owner have chosen a more realistic cave?

I'm still waiting for the 7:32 pm Paris to London express to come hurtling through the tunnel any minute?

(Sorry, couldn't resist it!)

All joking aside: Your screensaver is without question the best on the market by a long way! And I really love it.....Keep up the good work, I will buy any future upgrades without hesitation!

Hi Jim.
Few ideas occurred to me for enhancing Marine aquarium.
1. Set a feeding action (manual key or timer) for dropping food from the top and look how the fishes go for it when getting closer...
2. Another one was to develop the routines for letting some big fishes (like scorpionfish and eel, in certain positions) eating smaller ones in a eye blink... It would be great, LOL!!!
3. I would also like to be able to set the background (not the corals) deep blue instead of light blue.

1. Maybe.
2. Nope - this is SereneScreen, not DeathScreen.
3. In the 'Background Colors' section of the Settings screen, you have complete control over the background colors.

Hi Jim,

any news on the non-waving-Featherduster bug in v3.3?
I also have an Intel graphics card (HD 4000) and the featherdusters aren't moving (actually I think they were moving under Windows 8.1 with Intel graphics driver V9.17 but stopped under Windows 8.1 Update 1 with Intel graphics driver V10.18).
If you still need somebody to test your fix, I'd be happy to help out...

Thanks ind advance
Jens

I've seen the announcement that version MA3.3 is now officially available, but I cannot find where to access it for download. I see the announcement on http://www.fish-byte.com/ but the download links still show v3.2. Please advise accordingly. Thanks in advance!

The page at http://www.serenescreen.com/ shows the same 3.2 version. The download is in fact version 3.3. from the serenescreen website..

Yes, we're in the process of totally reworking the SereneScreen website. The text says 3.2, but the download file is actually 3.3.

Jim.. what your installer should include is "restoreSCR.reg". Or at least an option to have it merge. Or.. have it available as a download from the same page as your SS. Or.. as other screensavers seem to do is rename the shortcut to an *.exe.
Autodesk programs continue to take control over *.scr type of files and thus on a computer that has an Autodesk application installed your SS will not run from the shortcut your installer places on my desktop.
