Jim, you're working toward a total of 5 SereneScreen Savers, right? At roughly 20 bucks a piece, plus 2 creature packages per saver at 10 dollars each, that's about 200 dollars for all five with all the fixins. At some point, when all five are finished, you'll probably offer a package deal on your website. Buy all five with all the add-ons for 180 dollars, or something like that, don't you think? Have you thought about offering this option to the forum members NOW? I'd be willing to give you my 180 dollars now, as a sort of investment in the future of your company. You get my money now to use anyway you see fit, if all goes well, I get all five screen savers with all the extras over the next five years or so. You could generate a lot of cash quickly this way. There would be no refunds of course, all investments are risky. If you die (God forbid) or your bussiness goes belly up (knock on wood) I would get nothing. What do you think? It sounds good but I didn't think it through clearly enough I'm sure. There's probably lots of holes in this idea. Any other forum members willing to fork 180 bucks over to Jim now to recieve all the SereneScreen savers over the next five years?

Nope
Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.

I would buy some shares of Jim's company, maybe "Jim Sachs Serene Screens Inc.". But unfortunately, i think there are no plans for an I.P.O.

Patscar: You've seen how many mails there are about "When does the next version come?". How many more mails would come if you paid in advance? Or if Jim would change the priority of his schedule and to like now, a make the fresh-water tank instead of a 3D background. Some people perhaps rather wants the butterflies and if they payed in advance, the change of plans would upset them.
But a reduced price for some of the SerenceScreen's if you already bought the others would be nice.

No reason to add more pressure by taking advance money. In fact, I'm off for a couple of days right now in Denver figuring out where I want to live the rest of my life. Going biking in Deer Creek Canyon in a few minutes.

Land search was disappointing today. All the lots were too small to build a house plus a soundstage.

A stage, for shooting a movie or TV show, where you have complete control over the sound.

Will Ware is doing the DirectX 7 translation.
I think the creature packages are before the butterfly garden. Most people get 2-3 weeks of vacation a year. He took 1 week last year and less than 2 weeks this year. And he works on Saturdays.

Seems like a lot of people in here now have photos of themselves as their avatar image. Very nice everyone! Aloha from Paradise (where I live and work! All day Sunday.
I went to Australia many times during my Air Force years, and love it. Only as far north as Alice Springs, though -- not the Great Barrier Reef.

My turn for a vacation guys and gals. I'm off to NY to visit family and friends for a month. I'm so excited to EAT when I get back home, anything, anywhere, as long as it is not KOREAN food! That's what I miss most from home, the food! Anyways, I'm sure I'll be popping in here from time to time, otherwise I would go through withdrawl symptoms or something.

I guess it would take an American to travel away from the Soccer World Cup when you have it at home...
