More Plants
I have a mac so I haven't seen the beta goldfish aquarium yet. However, I'm looking forward to it's release for mac & I agree that lots of plants would be ideal. I give my goldfish plenty of plants and I would want to see the same thing in GA screensaver. Plants that seem to work well in my aquarium are: Wisteria, Hornwort, Banana Plant, Moneywort and Ludwigia. Ludwigia is red, so it would satisfy the desire for more color.
I'd like to mention that while it's true that goldfish are able to survive in cold water they can thrive in warmer water temeratures as well. Some of the fancier goldfish varieties with long fins are not as hardy as the common varieties and actually do better in warmer temperatures. My goldfish are active and spend most of their time looking for more food and tearing up their plants and being adorable! Last edited by missmonapenny; 06-13-2003 at 12:06 PM. |

When I had my aquarium, I was always fond of banana plants.
