I don't even see the starfish. Where is it hidden?

It's in the flat area at the left of the tank. (Assuming it's not de-selected in Fish Settings.)

Sorry but it's just not there! And it's not de-selected in Fish Settings. What could be going on? Is there another setting that I missed?

Is it possible that you have the Auto Pan option disabled?
Try pressing the Left Arrow key on your keyboard. |

[Just speculating that it might be an issue related to version or something...] |

try going into wireframe mode - "W" and checking. It's sometimes easier to spot in that mode!

Could you post a screenshot of the left side of your tank?

Looks like you have to have the Auto Pan option enabled. Then you'll see the starfish once about every minute.

If you don't have the Auto Pan option enabled, you might only see about 1/3 of the aquarium!

You could use the arrow keys to position the view to include the Starfish. - Or you could wait for the Starfish to come into view, (once it start moving again)...... I think there is a saying that goes... You can't have your cake and eat it. ...

[The design was for a wide tank, with panning. The ability to turn off panning was put in (as I recall) because some people wanted to be able to turn it off. ] |
