So,

What ever happened to the DVD?

I would like to purchase one but I can't even find mention of it on the SereneScreen site. Any ideas?

That DVD posted on Ebay

Reading it on Ebay it said running time was 2 hours. This means its nothing more than a video capture of the screensaver that has been exported to DVD compliant MPEG-2. So basically for us, its noth worth it since its far too easy to do provided that you have a VCR to record the screensaver as it ouputs to your TV set, have a VCR/DV camera to record to, have a capture card on your computer to capture and render as an Mpeg-2, have DVD burner and appropriate authoring software. I disagree that "most people don't user the added features on DVD's". Who you mean is old people who are less comfortable with a DVD player. Of which many don't own/want.

But if the actual DVD being offered by the original creator is a rom based DVD then that would be better since it would be working much like the games that come on some DVD's. Although I don't know how much randomness one can achieve through DVD.

The official DVD is supposed to have 2-3 different fish selections.

OH yeah. I forgot to say hello. So, uhm, hello. I have to say that this program has the most awesome looking fish design and animation. In fact it is so great CompUSA displays it on every single PC monitor that they are trying to selll.
