I'll get a more active one of him soon, maybe we'll even take them to the beach tonight, he looks good there.
BTW, Jennifer was volunteering at the humane society last night so she wasn't home when I shot the video, I think Apollo was sad because she was late and also knew where she was. Diva was content to chill with me and watch recorded episodes of Shark Week shows...

With all the excitement of the 21 new pets I brought home today I forgot to tell you about the one that joined our family yesterday...
I present to you, Morimoto! Jennifer and her sister were on there way to check out some garage sales yesterday morning and before they got very far Jennifer spotted him running down the side of the road along with some of his brothers and sisters already hit by cars and dead. They pulled over and Jennifer got out of the car to rescue him. Before I knew what happened we were on our way to the vet to get him checked out and with a couple shots and a clean bill of health he soon found a new home with us. While we were at the vet another lady came in with a kitten of the same age that she had found at the same place, almost certainly a sibling, his tail had been run over and probably has to be amputated but if the lady decides she doesn't want to keep it we've offered to take him/her in as well so at least part of the family can stay together after the tragedy some wrought upon their family by dumping them on the side of a busy street... People can be so cruel... But anyway, he's really cute.

Sure is a cutie. Thanks for helping him. Is he noisy or insectlike?
Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.
"We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita. Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says, 'Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.' I suppose we all thought that, one way or another." /Robert Oppenheimer on witnessing the first thermonuclear detonation in history. |

Morimoto looks very active, explorative and playful, and cute too. I think cats grow out of that playfulness when they become adults (speaks one who is allergic to cats and never owned one ) so enjoy it now while it's there.
I also never owned or do much horse riding at all. Do all riding horses have that metal thing in their mouths when being ridden? Nice pics as usual. Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes. |

Yes, without that 'metal thing', , it would be very difficult to control most horses. - The 'metal thing' is very smooth, and the horse sometimes 'leans' on it, (it fits in a natural gap that all horses have behind their front teeth). Each horse has it's own 'bit', and they have to be of the correct size and type. When you develop 'soft hands' you can communicate through the bit with the very slightest movement of your fingers.

Cat owners - We're going to be actively looking for videos of cats (or other critters) interacting with the SereneScreen fish, to post on YouTube. Maybe we'll try to work out a contest of some kind.

Aww… I wish I still had my kitties. I have a couple short clips I did a few years ago, but it’s with Sharks and Goldfish. I only have stills of Marine Aquarium.
