Wow, I didn't realize Vista had changed all these folders. Most of the changes look pretty idiotic to me too. We had those folder names established in 2000/XP and most programs work based on those folders. The new folder names they've added in Vista don't even make any sense to me. Roaming? Local? What the hell is that?
I found a Word document which is supposed to explain what is so wonderful about this Roaming folder. The more I look at Vista, the more it looks like the people making the decisions were more worried about job security than making a good OS. They randomly changed and rearranged things just to "look different".

As far as the logo not showing up on the second monitor - I'll work on that tonight. Everything has to be re-created for each render unit, and that one fell through the cracks. |

I'm running the latest beta 8j on Vista 32bit and I can't seem to toogle the logo to a created one.
Does it still have to be named AltLogo and is L still the way to change it? Yes it is a .png file. |

So you tried putting it in C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\AppData\Roaming\Marine Aquarium 3, and it still doesn't show up?

Running Vista x86. I just noticed a new folder was created by one of the latest betas, "C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Marine Aquarium 3" containing a few files. I placed my logo in there and pressing the L key displays it.

It works fine with the logo in that folder, never mind. |

Marine Aquarium 3 is a beta. There is no official means to import logos or to set a logo as the default, other than pressing L.

The L key is just a way of testing the alternate logo system until I can get a real interface installed.

You could put in a blank logo.

You do realize that you can turn off the crystal entirely and just have natural rocks and corals in the tank?

I kind of like the crystal, too - but I can see how a saltwater purist might only want natural objects in the tank.
