Thanks. It would be useful to have some kind of notation on Serenescreen.com when the last update occurred at least.

Ralph you are so right . Windows is the biggest ongoing Beta of all time . If only they were one millionth as careful as Jim as to what they unleash on their unsuspecting users . There's never been a security update for Marine Aquarium .

Edit - not that I don't love my Windows XP and my Compaq laptop , which would have to be pried from my cold dead hands if anyone wanted them .
Run you clever boy. And remember...

I'll see if I can get Prolific to put the version number on the download page.

Regarding progress on the new fish models and movements - There has been progress on the models, but none yet on the new movement algorithms. To test the detail on the new Yellow Tang, I'm running the program with the fish at double their normal size. The original fish look terrible at that scale, but the new model looks pretty good. The new textures are a lot bigger, but it's mostly the detail on the 3D model that makes a difference. For example, the side fins now attach to "bumps" in the sides of the body instead of just passing into it at an arbitrary point.

It'll probably be ready for public viewing in October - but please note, as per the regular policy, we're not saying WHICH October!

No no! .... I can confidently predict that the next beta will be out shortly with the new model of the candy-blue Yamaha Tang.

Well I would have preferred the candy apple red or the bubble gum yellow but if it has the original exposed fin two cycle propulsion then I will be satisfied because I was always a sucker for the smell of half burned oil and gas and in the morning.

Sandeman, you do not have permission to access this page.

Is it due to my lack of posting here?

Thanks. For the welcome and the solution . I checked the address and it works ok now (although I'm on another pc at the moment ).

Come to think of it, the other pc had internet explorer 6 for a browser... (yes, I know ) maybe that had something to do with it.. Oh well.. Never mind

This program looks very good on my 46 inch LCD TV. I recently hooked up a computer operating on Windows XP to my TV, and this program plays beautifully!

Interestingly, when this program came out last year, I viewed it on a 22 inch LCD computer monitor, and I was unimpressed. The program laid fallow at my house until I got my LCD TV recently...now I am very pleased...
