Last night I had the two additional featherdusters working, but I wasn't satisfied with the way they looked, so I'm re-doing the artwork.

Feather dusters
I am already wondering if they will be the same species as the original one

There is bound to be some genetic (generic) drift since the original species came out.

I have to drive 14 hours down to Los Angeles tomorrow, so the featherdusters will have to wait 'til I get back.

The dedicated screen is a 32" LED SEIKI. The laptop is running Windows 7 - 64 Bit. Thanks very much for the suggestion. It's relaxing to always be there. No maintenance like I had with a "Live" aquarium. No buying more fish.... It's great. |

I don't think the fish are sized proportionately to each other.. so it is unlikely that one "expansion" would make them all life size.

Yes, the fish are all correctly proportioned (remember, they are mostly juveniles). A 32-inch monitor should be about right for their true sizes.

Proper sizing
originally POSTED BY: 321liftoff
Does anyone what TV size at 1080p resolution brings the fish in MA3 closest to life-size?
They all look properly sized to me at 1080P.

Finally today I got the chance to see MA3 on the 32" LCD TV. My brother bought an external bluray recorder and he needed me to help set it up (remember he's had years in IT for a major international corporation). Turns out it wouldn't play anything because of digital rights issues while we had the VGA monitor connected so I hooked up the TV as the only monitor through HDMI.I tried Marine Aquarium, Dream Aquarium and Sim Aquarium through the desktop and they all looked great but then I ran them all again from my laptop which has much better graphics and they looked fantastic. I wish I could dedicate a computer and a tv and have them running full time.
So Jim, the years you spent building the 3D background have not gone unappreciated.
Run you clever boy. And remember...
