I remeber this kind of fish will hold their eggs and babies in the mouth...am I correct? or is it another type of fish?

Well, my favourite fresh water fish.... (or at least ones I've seen)

Angel Fish (I got one, who loves being fed... lots... and lots!)

I had a Freshwater Prawn once... it was cool

Are freshwater crabs allowed? cause they would be different to just the fish (like the starfish was different!)...

Pleckos (cant remember what they are fully called... plekostomus or something), those big dark-grey things that suck the glass etc getting all the moss/mildew off.

Oh.. one I remember, and thought it was awesome.. a freshwater stingray!

It took up the entire tank on its own, but.. it would be cool having one of those on your screen!

Thats my tuppence worth anyway :P

Sometimes you have to look beyond the outer appearances of a fish and look more towards how it lives and interacts with it's environment. While a tank full of beautiful fish is a site to behold, if all they do is school and swim back and forth, then it gets old after a while.

However, there are fish which have unique attributes (electric cat, Lungfish

, Clown Knife, etc.) that can just as easily offer as much (or more) interest for the observer than a bunch of beautiful fish can. Don't get me wrong, I too like to admire nice looking fish just like the rest of you. But, I've owned some of these "other" species (ones so ugly they could stop a frieght train in it's tracks) and I almost always found myself watching them on a regular basis because I wanted to see what they would do next.

For example, my Lungfish had to go to the surface from time to time to open his mouth and breath in air just like you and I would if we were swimming and had to go up for air. He also did weird head stands in the tank, slept in strange positions, would stare at me for long periods of time, liked to swim across the surface of the water so I could run my hand along his body (weird I know), and ate from my hand (very dangerous if you know anything about Lungfish).

Anyway, you get my point, there's more to a fish than it's looks alone.

Although I'm sure Jim will still want his aquarium to contain only visually appealing fish and I can certainly respect that. Besides, with the different species he already has in there and the AI changes he'll eventually make to them, his fish will no doubt only get better in the long run.

I'm totally with you, well say man, I also like those species with unique attribute that normal species don't have.
that why most of my fr r very interesting to see my tank and keeps questioning me here and there.

nobody mentioned it, and I just saw a rather ugly fish

I also had weird fishies on a freshwater tank, but I don't remember their names. I remember a gray one that was used to eat upside-down (the first times it made me feel he was dead, but he was just eating :?)
I also had some fishies looking like snakes, with stripes yellow and black, who were always hidden on the ground, and only went out when there was no light, and also a suicidal fish who liked to jump out of the water hitting himself on the head against the top of the aquarium (this one had a lucky day once and found the cover was not there, so I found him dead on the carpet the next day)

I've mention it b4 on this wishlist and I also said they really looks like "water snake"

I really wish Jim could add Kuhli Loach in the Freshwater Aquarium, coz I really miss my Kuhli Loach which I own them about 9 years ago....@@

I plan to have Loaches eventually, but probably not in the fist version of the Freshwater Aquarium. Their shape and movement are totally different from normal fish, so a lot of extra time will be required to create them.

I like the Transparent Catfish that I have in my tank.
I dont have any pictures of them unfortunately

You can see their one structure, their "internal organs"... its very cool

Plus, those Glass Catfish are the ones i was on about... One of mine died though

Hi, I'm new to this forum, so....<wave>

This is an interesting wishlist. I'd say that the standard fish like guppies, swordtails, angelfish, and cardinal tetras probably need to be in there. But I would like to see some of the more unusual animals that go beyond the somewhat boring regular selections, something that people will see and go, Cool what's that?

My suggestions (sorry I don't know how to post pics yet, use Google):

Endler's Livebearers
Bumblebee Gobies
Ornate Bichir (which would eat the other two guys, but....)
Albino African Clawed Aquatic Frog
Ghost Shrimp
Marbled Hatchetfish
