Haven't decided yet, but if I go for the Mac, I'll be careful to monitor my smarminess levels.

PC or Mac? Why not both?
Jim,
I've been dual booting macbook pro laptops between OSX and Windows XP, then Windows Vista, and now Windows 7 for a few years now. The built-in bootcamp option works very well and lets me develop and test within both operating systems. I highly recommend it. That said I'm booted up into Windows 7 about 90% of the time because I'm primarily a windows programmer.
Sincerely,

I know nothing about Mac or Apple stuff whatsoever. Does this run on the iPhone 4? A friend just got one.

Eeeexcellent. I've made the suggestion. Her son loves fish so I know he's going to enjoy it.

just want tell you, that I have my MarineAquarium with me all the time.
It run's on my IPhone4 and on my IPad2 - absolutely wonderfull. I love the face of people, looking to my IPhone, when it runs in Music-Mode and this wonderfull aquarium is shown on the display They keep asking me for "copies" of the program for the Computer - but the only thing they can get from me is the adress of the webside, where they can buy it Juanita |

as soon as i got my first iphone this went on it.
only thing that would be great to have is if a scoll function could be added...when im at work my iphone stays docked with my radio and in the uprt position you only see a very small portion of the aquarium,a way to make it so it scrolls from 1 side to the other would be fantastic. |

Wow I seem to have had my head in the sand and totally missed the initial news that MA 2.6 has been ported to iOS devices and only costs $1.99 to boot. Congratulations Jim S. (and to Jim O. your Mac developer) on this fine product.

I hope so. I was checking out the version that's available now, and it lacks some basic support from whoever ported it over to iOS. Two years ago is the listed update...

Yes, Jim O'Connor's team has stated that i-devices simply haven't had the horsepower to handle MA3.2, so they've been stuck with MA2.6. That may finally be changing. Stay tuned.
