Cool progress *dingdingding* can't wait
is the background completed or are you just making a creative fish-making-break?

So where's our great-looking snapshot?

I'm sure Jim will answer also. So far I've seen the treasure chest with perfect bubbles, and a couple of rocks. The rocks are real-time 3D objects and VERY detailed.

I skip around, working on whatever feels right at the time. When the background gets too difficult, I do some fish.

Haha, hope the background is really difficult so you make a lot of fish

Jim must be getting quite a net full of fish, time to sell a few perhaps? <hint-hint>

Just 3 are done for the Freshwater tank -- a Cardinal Tetra, Silver Angelfish, and Tiger Barb. All turned out pretty well.

Unless these snapshots were fairly detailed (taken at 1920x1080 res) and showed multiple angles of each fish, I think it would actually detract from the excitement about the Freshwater.

I feel the same way about the bubbles.

No-one can be told or shown pictures of how cool the Treasure Chest and Bubbles are. You have to see it for yourself...

Great, Morgan – Keep rubbing it in...

/Tiny Anticipation
Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.

Still, put it all together:

Cardinal Tetra;
Siver Angelfish;
Tiger Barb;
Rocks; (very detailed from Morgan's info)
Treasure Chest;
Bubbles that have blown Morgan away

Now all we need to know is if there are any plants that have been completed and we can imagine an almost complete tank!

Anticipation, Tiny? TELL me about it!

Do any of you fishkeepers out there have freshwater tropical fish that really move their gills much? I've been studying some videos and a DVD of freshwater tanks and can detect virtually no gill movement in any of the fish they had filmed. No mouth movement either, except when eating.

The fish will move their mouths when eating (or kissing, I guess), but I'm talking about the normal mouth/gill movement when breathing, like most saltwater fish. This makes a big difference in programming - whether I build in gills or not.
