Hi all!
I'm an old fan of Jim Sachs screensavers and I hope to see his "new baby" Emma (or MA) in the nearest future!

Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for your comments a couple weeks ago about my question on updating my AGP video card. I ended up buying a PNY Geforce 7600 GS card with 512 MB I love the new card and am now ready to be a MA 3.0 Beta tester (when Jim is ready). The only problem is I find myself looking at 24 inch widescreens.

I hope you get one. You can view two pages of a Word document with ease on a 24-inch monitor. Full 1080p movies can be viewed at native resolution. Even screen savers look stunning! My personal favorite is the $399 24-inch Samsung monitor with VGA and DVI inputs. Plus it's HDCP compliant. I saw it at Costco.

Got a model number on that one? Samsung have at least four 24" monitors at the moment.

Alas it's not showing up at Costco online any more. And Samsung has a dizzying array of 24-inch monitors available. However there are three cheaper 24-inchers showing there:

Dell E248WFP 24" Wide DVI LCD 5ms 1000:1 400 cd/m² $379.99
ViewSonic Optiquest 24"W DVI 5ms 800:1 400... $379.99
Sceptre 24" W DVI/VGA 2ms... $299.99

P.S. Do check the resolution on a 24" monitor, you only get "Full 1080p movies can be viewed at native resolution" if it's a 1920x1200 or so.

Not quite sure which forum to post this in, so I'll just ask here. While I am anxious to get a look at MA3 (like everyone else) but today I have another question. I have the 2.0 version on CD. I paid for the 2.6 update and just use my CD for the key when i need to install it. I got an iMac yesterday and would like to get the Mac version. Do I need to buy it? Can I get a key for it? How does that work?

All 24" monitors on the market have a 1920x1200 resolution.

Hey all, been a while since I was on. Good to see progress is being made on the new version. Jims' screensaver has inspired me to set up a marine aquarium, ( a 29 Gallon Bio-Cube tank by Oceanics)! Here is a pic of my Blue Spot Jawfish waving his fin "Hello"! to all of you! I'm also including a full shot of my tank. Take Care!

Thought I would also include a "tank down" shot as well!
